Method of Applying

The application process starts on 1 April 2012. All requests are due by June 15, 2012. Students will be informed by mid August for a September 2012 enrollment. The applicant must be admitted to one of the leading institutions recognized for its high standard in excellence.

The Luys Foundation has a list of recommended colleges and institutes. Once admitted, the scholar-elect must provide proof of having submitted a request for financial aid to the college that confirmed the admission, and provide the Luys Foundation with the status of funding granted by the college.

Ongoing Mentor Program - Pairing Luys Students with Armenian Scientist Worldwide

This program assembles a community of thinkers and doers who are committed to meet each summer around a specific theme, to bring state-of-the-art knowledge to create a new synthesis to be shared by the international community. The people who create and take part in the Ateliers are people who are known in the world and in their fields for their significant ideas and contributions. They will continue working and thinking together on-line during the rest of the academic year.

Through a one-on-one relationship Luys undergraduate and graduate students provide and serve as role models for younger people who need advice, guidance and support.

Youth faces challenges not only with academic work but also with social issues.

Older students can help the younger students stay on track and learn to exercise a vision, apply themselves to hard work and help them to create the skills and the vision necessary for achieving higher goals and ambitions.
