Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has been in office since? April 9, 2008.
He is a graduate of the Yerevan National Institute for Economy and Planning. He furthered his higher education at the N. A. Voznesensky Financial-Economic Institute in Leningrad and graduated with the highest honors. He holds a Dictor degree in Economy and Sciences. His research focused on “Regional social-economic development planning, based on Armenia's example”.?
Prime Minister Sargsyan pursued his interest and experience in Law Making at the International Institute of Law, in Washington, USA. Later he specialized on ?“Effective Banking Management”, at the Institute of Economic Development with the World Bank in Washington, USA.
He holds an Honorary Doctorate from the State Economics University and is the author of numerous scientific publications.
Before becoming Prime Minister, Tigran Sargsyan was the Chairman of the Central Bank for the Republic of Armenia. He is recognized for his major contribution to the strengthening and stabilizing of Armenia’s Banking System.
In 2004, he was awarded the prestigious Anania Shirakatsi Medal, an Armenian State Award for Scientists in the economics and natural sciences, engineers and inventors.
Prime Minister Sargsyan is a Reserve Officer of the Armenian Army.
He is married and has a daughter and two sons.

Since 2009, Mr. Vigen Sargsyan is Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Armenia. Prior to his present position, during the past 9 years he was appointed first as Assistant to the Minister of Defense and the Secretary for the National Security Council, then as Assistant to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
From 1995 to 1998 he was the Foreign Policy Advisor to the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia. Mr. Vigen Sargsyan is a graduate of Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA. He received a Masters degree from the renown Tufts’ Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy where he specialized in International Law and International Organizations. His research focused on Nagorno-Karabagh: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow and its Legal Framework.
Mr. Vigen Sargsyan also holds a Masters from Armenia’s Yerevan State University in International Relations with a concentration field on the History of Diplomacy and International Relations. He conducted research on The Role and Place of Inter-Parliamentary Organizations in Current International Developments. In parallel to his research in Armenia, Mr. Vigen Sargsyan was enrolled in the North-West Academy of Civil Service in St.-Petersburg, Russia. He received a diploma for his study of Social and Psychological Aspects of Selection and Training of Civil Servants. Mr. Vigen Sargsyan is the recipient of several prestigious awards. Among the recent ones are the Ordre National du Merit of the French Republic (Awarded in 2008 by President Sarkozi) and Movses Khorenatsi Medal (State Award) for a long-term contribution to the establish¬ment and advancement of Armenian statehood (Awarded in 2007 by a decree of the President of Armenia).
Mr. Vigen Sargsyan has authored several publications and is a Member of the Editorial Board of the "Civil Service" quarterly journal.
Among his important writings are: his 2003 publication on the "National and International Mechanisms for Protection of Human Rights" that co-authored with Reuter and Khufner and his 2008 Armenian translation and editing of Ron Asmuth’s "Opening NATO’s Door".
Mr. Vigen Sargsyan is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the American University in Armenia, in the Academic and Public Administration Department, where he has been teaching since 2001.
He is married and father of one.

In addition to his position as Vice Governor for the Central Bank of Armenia, Dr. Vache Gabrielyan is Counselor to the Chairman and Board Member of the Central Bank.
In 1990 he graduated with honors from the Yerevan State University for Economy and Cybernetics where he also received the Armenia Lenin Fellowship for his Post-graduate studies. In 1992 he was awarded the Muske Fellowship for a Masters in Public Administration.
Dr. Vache Gabrielyan holds a doctorate in Public Administration from Rutgers University in New York, USA, where he was awarded the Phi Alpha Outstanding Graduate Award. He later joined the Rutgers University faculty of Pubic Administration. From 1994 to 1998 he held the parallel positions as Assistant Professor and Vice Director for the University’s Public Efficiency National Center.
Dr. Vache Gabrielyan has extensive experience in working with the World Bank in Washington DC, focusing on "Central Bank and State Reserves Management" as well as "Currency Market Regulation, and Advanced Financial Programming and Policy.
Prior to his US experience Dr. Vache Gabrielyan worked in the Uk and Switzerland. In London, he worked with the Bank of England in "Corporative Management". In Switzerland, he conducted studies in "Central Bank Strategy, Credibility, Independence".
Dr. Vache Gabrielyan is member of the Faculty for the Yerevan State University and American University in Armenia and teaches economy, politics and international relations. The Armenian Public Television lists him among the expert commentators in economy and finances.
He is married and father of two children.

Anahit Bakhshyan is Member of Armenia’s National Assembly Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs. She is also the former President of Board of Administration and party member of the “Heritage” political party.
Anahit Bakhsyan is passionate about issues related to education and has been active civil servant in the field for nearly 40 years. She was Principal of the D. Demirchyan High School in Yerevan and for many years taught Physics. Anahit Bakhshyan is recognized for her leading role in the development and innovation of educational policies and curriculum development. She has authored numerous publications on educational issues.

Fr. Mesrop Aramian is a priest of the Armenian Apostolic Church, theologian, scholar, writer and translator. He is the founder and director of the Gandzasar Theological Center, a leading research and publishing center in Armenia specialized in the fields of spirituality, culture, history and education.
Fr. Mesrop is the founder and director of Vem FM Radio, an Armenia-based FM radio station broadcasting spiritual, cultural, educational shows and classical music. Fr. Mesrop Aramian is the founder of Vem Media Arts, a video production studio. Vem Media Arts has produced several series of TV broadcasts and documentaries mostly dedicated to environmental issues.
In association with a group of friends, Fr. Mesrop has established Ayb Educational Foundation, which is a key player in the field of education in Armenia today.
Fr. Mesrop has authored many books, articles, radio and TV shows, educational projects and programs. He is married and father of 2 sons and 4 daughters.

Jacqueline Karaaslanian was born in Armenia, educated in France and lived in the US.
She is Executive Director for Education Programs, for the Armenia based Luys Foundation. She has experience in leading collaborative design, strategy building, and management of large-scale educational programs worldwide.
Jacqueline Karaaslanian worked with the founding members of the MIT Media Lab at its initial inception where she worked for the past 25 years as Director of Special Projects for the Future of Learning Group and Media Fabrics Group. She has been instrumental in building projects with the MIT research teams and going from design to full implementation of avant-garde technology rich learning environments.
She was married to the late Dr. Gregory Gargarian, composer and researcher at MIT.
She is the mother of Anna and Mark K. Gargarian .
