I was born in 1990 in Yerevan. I have finished A. Shahinian Special School of Physics-Mathematics. During my studies there I took part in many competitions and Olympiads. I have been a winner of National Physics and Astronomy Olympiads numerous times.

In January 2006 I participated in the 2nd International Zhautykov Olympiad on Mathematics and Physics held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Then, in the same year, I participated in the 37th International Physics Olympiad held in Singapore and was bestowed upon a Certificate of Honorable Mention.

In 2006 as the best high-school student, I was also awarded the first prize for my academic achievements in information technologies by the President of the Republic of Armenia. That may be my greatest accomplishment, which I am very proud of. These experiences proved to be very instructive and helpful in choosing my future specialization. I realized that physics is the sphere of science I would like to further discover for myself and to specialize in.

In 2010 I graduated from the Physics Department at Yerevan State University with highest distinction. During my studies at YSU I also took part in Global UGRAD Program organized by IREX and sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. I was selected as one of the finalists of the Program and spent one academic year studying physics and computer science at one of the academic institutions in the State of Nebraska. During my studies there I accomplished a semester – long internship: Lab Assistant at a Physics laboratory, LabView Programming for NXT Mastermind robots, as well as a Planetarium Technician. During the year spent in the U.S. I gained new professional skills and lots of knowledge and also widened my knowledge in the sphere of computer science and programming. After my return to Armenia I got a job in the sphere of IT, and since then I have been working as a web developer for one of Armenian IT companies.

Another achievement was to be admitted to one of the best technological Universities in the world, ETH Zurich. I was also admitted to a Master program at the University of Oxford, but eventually I gave preference to ETH. I am planning to get my Master's degree in Physics from ETH and later on contribute to the development of science in Armenia.
