Dear Fellow Armenians:

One dominant trait of our national identity is our thirst for knowledge and our striving for excellence in education. This is particularly meaningful in the knowledge-based society of the twenty-first century. We are all well aware of the danger that low quality education will often result in a lower standard of living. Nowadays, education is the driving force in national development, and every nation’s goal is to prepare for a knowledge-based economy.

Our strength lies in our youth, who embody the yearning for knowledge and the search for the constant betterment of ourselves and of our society. Our youth are ready to engage in a continuous and steady learning process and apply the knowledge and experience they acquire to strengthen our nation.

The objective of the Armenian government is to provide our people with the opportunity and conditions to acquire the necessary knowledge to build up our society. The Luys Foundation was created to serve this very purpose.

My wish is to see the Luys Foundation’s website become one of the tools that offers a gateway into the world’s best knowledge and educational programs.
